Hello! My name is Satoshi Okuzumi (奥住 聡) and I am an astrophysicist studying planet formation. I am currently a Professor of Earth and Planetary Sciences at Institute of Science Tokyo.
Our research group, Okuzumi Lab @ Science Tokyo, studies the physical and astrophysical processes of planet formation. We seek to answer the following fundamental questions:
"How do planets and smaller bodies form from dust?"
"How do planet-forming disks around young stars evolve?"
"Is the Earth unique in the galaxy?"
